Lodge and Wildlife Tours
1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?
Opened in July 2004. It offers 9 rooms with view to the lake Ibera. In addition to the Lodge, in 2009 the agency Irupé Wildlife Tours was born. Specializing in the northeastern region, some of our highlight destinations are the Iguazu falls, Ibera wetlands, Moconá Falls, the Jesuit Missions, etc.
2. What is your company's mission?
The respect for the environment as well as different life form and general culture are the basis of our work. Over two thousand people have visited and trusted in our services from our beginning as experienced organizers in this region. We appreciate and thank you for your time in receiving our proposals, that above all things, will be life experiences during your visit.
3. What does your company specialize in?
We trust and opt for sustainable tourism at all times; the motivating and satisfactory messages received from our clients, motivated us to develop, for the rest of the region, and above all for the marvellous Iguassu Falls and its surroundings, different alternatives to conventional travel.
4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?
Regi Lacona, born in Zürich, Switzerland with ETH university studies, achieved extensive experience in the ambit of tourism, travelling to many countries; Six years have passed from her arrival to these lands, decided to confront a challenge. Today she is mother of two Braulio and Ayelén and still dedicates valuable time collaborating in the growth and objective of Irupé Wildlife tours, that by the way, is not different to the one from the very first day: “Achieve a unique experience for our visitors as well as sustainable tourism along time…”. Mauricio Lacona, born in the province of Misiones and with immigrant ancestors, resided in Switzerland, where he worked in the same ambit in different regions of Switzerland.
