M20009 was set up in 1997 to offer overland, adventure and activity based tours to our customers. We pride ourselves on providing excellent tours at great value. We offer a variety of tours, including, trekking, cultural, adventure, overland, ski and surf to Morocco. Whether you want to go on an overland truck safari, trek up Mt Toubkal, the highest mountain in North Africa, go on a cultural adventure or just Ski and Surf all in 8 days, then we have something for you.

1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?

We have been operating 14 years now. It all started after my 3 years as a Tour Leader/Driver in Africa. Having travelled as long as I can remember and having a passion for providing some of the amazing adventures I have been on.

2. What is your company's mission?

To deliver the best value for money tours to our clients that we can.

3. What does your company specialize in?

Group tours to Morocco, Egypt, Jordan and Turkey.

4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?

Mark Stallwood and Diana Codrington founded the company. We have both worked and travelled extensively. Diana in Apam Hospital, Ghana as a Lab Technician, follwed by journeying on a Trans Arica expedition. This is where Diana met me whilst I was working as a tour leader with another company. I suppose we were just destined to set up M20009 and continue our passion for travel.

5. What is your most popular travel package and why?

This is a difficult one, but I suppose it would either be our Morocco Encompassed 15 day tour taking in the major attractions of Morocco, including the four Imperial cities, the Coast and the Sahara Desert or our very unique Berber Migration Trek for 11 days. This is pretty unique to M20009, as we have permission from a Berber Family to trek with them on the bi-annual migration of their Goats and Sheep from the low Dades Valley up to the High Atlas hills and vice versa. We travel at their pace and for those 11 days we experience what it is like to be Berber Nomads.

6. What is the best compliment you received from a client?

Probably from one of our many school groups, where a student said it opened her eyes to a much bigger world than the one she was used to and brought her a better understanding of how different cultures live. This was very pleasing to us.
