Incorporated in 2008 in Kampala Uganda, M20040 is a safaris/tour and events management company conducting safaris within the East African Region and locally owned. The company was started by two very skilled and hard working professionals.

We specialize in three main services which include:
- The provision of tailor made safaris, tours packages to suit all pockets and needs
- The provision of reliable car rental to the general public, companies, non government organizations and government ministries.
- The provision of events management and project management services to companies and NGOs as well as government institutions. These may include among others the provision of consultancies and logistical support.

1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?

M20040 has been in business for the last 4 years. The company was started by two very skilled and hard working professionals. Below are some of the reasons why M20040 was started: - To offer competitive quality travel and safari experiences to our clients - To continue to create awareness of Uganda as a unique niche destination while expanding our market share in the tourism sector of East Africa - To develop an International Standard Safaris Itinerary of Eastern Africa - To develop a professional staff membership well educated in managing tours and travel.

2. What is your company's mission?

Our Mission is to be one of the top five most recognized niche market safari, travel and value added service providers in East Africa focusing on nature, culture and adventure experiences in the Albertine Rift and Savanna Parks of East Africa.

3. What does your company specialize in?

We specialise in gorilla tracking, sightseeing expeditions, game drive safaris, chimpanzee trekking, guided nature walks, adventure explorations, birdwatching safaris Mountain hiking/climbing/Agro-tours and so much more.

4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?

M20040 was founded by Maria Christine Kako. Before establishing M20040, Maria was employed as an administrator/lecture at Multitech Business school in Kampala and later moved to work for one of the big Safaris, tour and travel company in Uganda.
