1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?
M20246 opened in 2006 but was not was completed until 2007 with 8 apartments and 56 villas. The concept came about so that people could enjoy the beauty of the Laguna de Apoyo in a location that was not invasive to the environment. The villas are built in a way that they are barely visible from the road or the lake so that you can enjoy the beauty of the reserve.
2. What is your company's mission?
The mission of The Villas at M20246 is to provide a memorable experience for our guests by providing excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and doing it in a way that will not disrupt the beauty of the area.
3. What does your company specialize in?
Our location is unique as it is the only hotel of its size located in the Laguna de Apoyo Reserve. Because of this, we have an abundance of flor and fauna and the hotel is very tranquil. We specialize in tour groups both foreign and national.
4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?
The Villas are individually owned so each villa is unique. Janice and John-Marc Gallagher are the owners of the management company that oversees the villas. They have lived in Central America for the past 15 years managing vacation rental companies in Nicaragua and Costa Rica.
5. What is your most popular travel package and why?
Our most popular travel package is the VISA Turn-Around Tour from Costa Rica. Many foreigners who do not have residency and are living in Costa Rica, must leave after 180 days to renew their Visa. Our package includes transportation from the border, two nights in a beautiful villa and breakfast for two mornings for $99 per person.
