1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?
M20255 has been operating for a year now. The two founders - Michael, an Irishman, and Rodrigo, a Carioca (native of Rio de Janeiro) - had been working for many years as guides on Brazil's Green Coast but felt that the area was being completely overlooked as an adventure tourism destination. Setting up M20255 enabled them to put together trips the way they felt they should be done to bring out the best of the region.
2. What is your company's mission?
Through our adventure programs we aim to increase knowledge and awareness of Brazil's Atlantic Rainforest (a biodiversity hotspot), its preservation and the role its indigenous people have to play in its future. All this mixed in with fresh air, exercise and a lot of fun.
3. What does your company specialize in?

4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?
The two founders, Rodrigo and Michael, met while guiding on a bikini boot camp in Brazil. Although coming from very different parts of the world (Brazil and Ireland) they discovered they shared a passion for outdoor life, having both fled office jobs earlier in their lives.
5. What is your most popular travel package and why?
The Paraty Beach Adventure. It's a great combination of history, nature and local culture squeezed into only 4 days. We stay out in a remote fishing village and visit a couple of arguably the best beaches in Brazil. But no one knows about them!
6. What is the best compliment you received from a client?
After a trip one client wrote an online review saying we offered'a rare guiding mix of great fun, humour, exercise, knowledge and professionalism' - this was great to hear as it's exactly what we set out to achieve!
