Our company is a fully licensed, safari tour operator based in Kampala, Uganda. Since 1999 we have outfitted and operated mountain gorilla expeditions specializing in Mountain Gorilla safaris, and organising Events and Conferences of all kinds in Uganda, Rwanda, Congo and Burundi. The Company is a member of The Uganda Tourism Association (UTA, The Association of Uganda Tour Operators (AUTO) and known intimately by The Uganda Tourist Board (UTB, all these can give a confidential report about us and our services.

Our experience on Uganda, Rwanda, Congo and Burundi is unparalleled. Over the past seven years, Pinnacle Associates has handled over 4000 clients, taking many of them on holiday in Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and Congo, and to the neighbouring countries of Kenya, Tanzania and Sudan and these are our areas of specialization. We are the only company in the world to handle groups of tourists to these destinations on a massive scale. For example, in June 2008, we successfully handled 2500 delegates for the US President's Emergency Plan For AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) conference, a feat which won us international accolade and recognition.

Our gorilla safari packages have been compared to The 13 Best Safaris of the World by the British Airways Highlife Magazine last year. We have over 25 gorilla tours in Uganda; over 15 chimp safaris, 4 cultural tours and over 30 eco tours to these countries. In addition to gorilla tours, we also have game safaris and avi-tourism (bird watching). 1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?

M20443 is a Tour operator based in Kampala operating tours in the East African Region especially in Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and DRC. It was established by Ugandan based Tourism professional in 1999 as a means to conserve the Mountain Gorillas that were facing the danger of extinction.

2. What is your company's mission?

Our company's mission is being the biggest company in East Africa providing personalized service with the utmost dedication to the safety and enjoyment of our travelers.

3. What does your company specialize in?

Our company specializes in safari packages and most especially Gorilla safaris in Uganda and others in Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) as well as Burundi.

4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?

The company was established and Managed by Mr. Kimbowa Francis. He holds a Bachelors (Hons) Degree in Tourism Management from Makerere University and Master s Degree in land use and Urban development. Before establishing the company, he had worked as Sales and Tours Officer, Volcanoes Safaris Limited, and he is a Part-time Lecturer Tourism Program, Department of Geography Makerere University Kampala, Uganda since 2001.

5. What is your most popular travel package and why?

Our most popular travel package is Gorilla tour Uganda that takes 11 days (Tour Code UG1) and covers 8 out of the 10 National parks in Uganda.

The best compliment I received from a client was about the time when I had a client that was traveling within 3 days and she said that I am the quickest person she has seen in urgent response.

		We read that Winston Churchill once said Uganda is “the pearl of Africa” - indeed this is probably the most over-quoted line in Uganda. Perhaps he said this ... view more when he saw the extensive green hills, vast lakes, wild animals and rainforest. The landscape is even more impressive than Ethiopia. We saw a rolling patchwork of greens, browns and yellows in short, narrow strips of land farmed by hand by the local women. So vibrantly green is Uganda that we mused that the quote should read “the emerald of Africa”.
