1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?
I have been active in tourist business for about 18 years. Before that I was a journalist, which is considered to be excellent background for guides. For some time I combined these two professional activities: journalism and guiding, at first free lance, then full time guide employed by Orbis, those days the oldest and the biggest company, widely known in Poland and abroad. Soon it appeared that I am successfull in guiding which is confirmed by many opinions of satisfied customers expressed in letters to travel agencies which recommended my services, or directly to me. It made me decide to work as a guide full time, and not to waste my ability of writing. I translate books from English into Polish (over 20 titles of novels translated by me have been already published).
