M20616 was founded in 2006, having as purpose the organization of team-building events in a creative manner. Therefore it has brought a new approach on the market throughout dynamic programs and offers. At the beginning of the year 2009, M20616 released 3 other projects – Travel, Trekking and Events. The trekking project brings quality to the Western programs of trekking and hiking for tourists by emphasizing the wildness of Romania's landscape and local traditions that are passed on from father to son. By promoting these values M20616 Trekking helps preserving and recognizing the authentic values of Romania at the European level.

We offer the following types of programs throughout our "Trekking and Hiking in Romania" program: Hiking, Trekking, Tours, Adventure, Family tours, VIP, Custom made programs, Children camps, Themed programs. Our programs are aiming to bring foreign tourists in Romania for offering them unique, genuine and original programs. Our mission is to present Romania at its best: hospitable people, authentic traditions that are still kept alive, wild and diverse nature. We want to offer our tourists "green" ecological and personal experiences, providing them with accommodation in rustic boarding houses as well as various activities.

We offer more than 200 mountain trails included in hiking and trekking trips that perfectly combines adventure with Romanian traditions, breathtaking landscapes with crafts activities.

1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?

The company started in 2006 with its main focus on team building activities. As the number of our clients increased, so did their requests. As an answer we diversified our activity, focusing also on individual trips that are offered also as incentives in big companies. This has proved to be a great success not only from a financial point of view, but also by offering us the change to prove tourists what Romania has to offer!

2. What is your company's mission?

M20616's mission is to offer its clients the best services in matter of guiding services, transportation, accommodation and events. Complex services for our clients needs!

3. What does your company specialize in?

We are specialized in all the services that we offer: trips, travel, events and team building.

4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?

Dragos Saioc is the owner and founder of M20616. He worked as a marketing manager at Porche Leasing Romania and president of a mountaineering NGO " M20616 Club".

5. What is your most popular travel package and why?

Our most popular travel package is "Meet Romania" because it offers our tourists the opportunity to visit a great part of the country and undertake a great diversity of activities like hiking, adventure park, kayaks, sightseeing, pottery workshop.

6. What is the best compliment you received from a client?

"I am sitting at the airport reflecting on our trip to Romania and I can't get past how appreciative I am for all of the kindness M20616 showed us. You are, collectively, a great group on young people who reflect all of the wonderful aspects of your country. Romania should be extremely proud of your representation. During the last two weeks you have been so professional, fun, flexible, and responsive to our needs even before we were aware of them. A very awkward situation was turned into a marvelous reunion shared by all. We will never forget the singing, baseball, ping pong, stupid priests, traveling, climbing, exploring, boat rides, agricultural lessons, pappanosh, ice cream, and on and on... Don, Jimmy, and I wish you all of the best and hope you all reach your goals and live happy, healthy, productive lives.
