M20724 is a fishing destination that was opened to the public in 1995, it has more than 15 years in the market, offering payara fishing trips to anglers worldwide. Our main area of expertise is to offer hosting services to anglers looking for the best payara fishing in the world, that is our main focus. Where other camps offer payara as a sideshow to the Peacock Bass, we offer the only camp in South America exclusively geared to the Payara. The Payara can best be described as a salmon with an extremely bad attitude. Apart from the Payara you will as well encounter the fierce Aymara, another prehistoric lure crunching fighter that grows up to 40 pounds. To insure the best fishing possible, a strict catch and release policy is in effect at the lodge, thanks to this we have experienced over the years the increment in size and numbers. Here various world records have been set and broken every season, the current all tackle record (39lb 4oz) was set by one of our guests and it is registered at IGFA.

1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?

The business has been operating 16 yeas now. It started thanks to a suggestion of one friend of our family, we used to go fishing on vacations and the payara fishing was spectacular (still is), we had many friends who liked fishing and we used to go together for out of the planet fishing trips. One of these friend was an avid angler who used to travel worldwide fishing. He was impressed of how good the payara fishing was there so he lighted the idea on our minds to offer it as a commercial sport fishing destinations. After some marketing studying and planning we took action and created a company that nowadays offer one of best payara fishing destinations in the world.

2. What is your company's mission?

Our company mission is to focus on offering the best possible service to our clients so they can enjoy our payara fishing destination.

3. What does your company specialize in?

Our company specialize in planning and organizing Payara fishing trips to Uraima Falls in Venezuela.

4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?

The founder of the company was Mr. Javier Lezama, he passed away some years ago. He used to be a notable man in the farming business in the State of Bolivar, Venezuela.
