We are a holiday and tour organiser, specialising in the Czech Republic.
1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?
The business started in 2010, but we have been promoting holidays in the Czech Republic through our website http://www.ceskykrumlovholiday.co.uk for about ten years.
The business started because there was a lack in specialist support for Czech holidays (outside of Prague) which was stopping English-speaking visitors from exploring a country we have fallen in love with. As a result we were asked to organise one tour and we haven't looked back.
2. What is your company's mission?
To provide high-quality, affordable holidays to the Czech Republic.
3. What does your company specialize in?
We are Czech specialists. We don't provide holidays to anywhere else and so can offer insight and support other general holiday providers cannot.
We also specialise in history, cultural, folklore and landscape holidays.
4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?
The business was set up by Zoe Brooks, an Oxford University History graduate, who has worked in the heritage and arts industry in London, Oxford and the Cotswolds before moving to the Czech Republic. Zoe usually leads the tours assisted by local specialists. Zoe's blog Adventures in the Czech Republic has been voted one of the top ex-pat blogs about the Czech Republic.
5. What is your most popular travel package and why?
Historic treasures of South Bohemia tour.
This was the first tour we ever ran, and is an excellent introduction to the part of the Czech Republic, which probably has the most to offer. The tour includes some well-known destinations (eg Cesky Krumlov) and others that have yet to be discovered.
6. What is the best compliment you received from a client?
We felt that we did not manage to thank you properly for your excellent organization of the holiday in South Bohemia. It is a part of the world that we had never visited before and had little knowledge of and now we feel that we should very much like to return. Your tour showed us such a lot of beautiful countryside and interesting places and glimpses of the rich cultural life there and was enriched by your own enthusiasm for the country.
