1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?

Cattel vacations U Limited is a well established Tour and Travel company based in Kampala – Uganda providing services within and beyond East Africa since 2006 up todate. 3. What does your company specialize in?

We specialize in organizing tailor made safaris to all destinations in Uganda and East Africa . Cattel vacations U Ltd has extensive experience in organizing tailor-made safaris to East Africa based around each client’s individual needs, time scale and budget. It was formed to serve the needs of the world wide travel industry and those traveling specifically to Uganda and the African continent as a whole. We aim at providing an awareness of Uganda as a viable travel destination.

4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?

The major share holders namely; Ms. Elizabeth Lamunu and Mrs. Christine Agara –Oyo (Lecturer in the area of Botany, Zoology) were born and raised in Uganda so they have first hand information about the country. Elizabeth, who is the Managing Director, is an active shareholder with extensive knowledge and experience in the tourism industry, Elisabeth holds a Bachelor of Tourism Management Degree from Makerere University , a diploma in Ticketing from Career Institute, a centre for coordinating distance education (IATA) and a Masters of Science in Human Resource Management from Makerere University . Since 2008 up todate Elisabeth has worked as a lecturer (Tourism and Hospitality, Human Resource Management) at MUBS Makerere University Business School . The love for nature and travel motivated her not only to teach tourism and hospitality but to practice what she preaches so as to provide quality service to nature lover and contribute towards conserving the environment.

5. What is your most popular travel package and why?

With only about 650 individual gorillas left in the whole world. Over 50 % of these apes are found in Uganda .
