More than just a trekking company or a tourism company, M20888 is a philosophy. This company was born out of a love for the natural beauty and people of Tanzania. We believe visitors to the region will have a more fulfilling experience if they go beyond the package tour and appreciate real Tanzanian life. We are entirely locally owned and operated, meaning that all of our proceeds stay in Tanzania and benefit Tanzanians.

It is important to us to give back to our local population, helping them to appreciate the gifts of the mountains and wildlife. We are involved in conservation efforts, education programs, and projects helping street children in the surrounding areas.

Every itinerary, whether trekking, safari, or cultural excursion, will include descriptions of Tanzanian history and culture by our expert guides. In addition a sampling of local cuisine will be presented at every meal along with an explanation of the foods significance in Tanzanian life.

We are able to organize customized itineraries packages of any of our mountain climbs, cultural excursions, wildlife safaris, and sports adventures. We are also happy to coordinate volunteer opportunities with any of our community activities.

1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?

The business has been running for two years now, since April 2009. The company was born out of love for Tanzania and it's beauty. This is due to the experience of all the directors in tourism industry.

2. What is your company's mission?

We look forward on providing beyond the excellent services to our customers, however we dream of being the leading medium sized company in the market on the next coming three years.

3. What does your company specialize in?

We are the specialist of all the adventure expeditions in the region, i.e: - Wildlife photographic, Cultural and Walking safaris. - Mountain Climbing. - Beach Holiday.

4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?

Emmanuel F.Mafuru and Lilian Brown are the founders of the company. Currently the company is owned by three directors: - Emmanuel (Tanzania) is a professional guide in Kenya and Tanzania for more than fifteen years now being working in with the most respected companies in the region. - Lilian (USA) has been working in developing and supervising the projects in Africa for quiet long. - Christophe Elain (France) is an engineer who is very interested in investing in the tourism sector in Tanzania.

5. What is your most popular travel package and why?

Tanzania and Kenya are the most beautiful countries in the world, the scenery, people, wildlife plants etc are incomparable worldwide.
