Behind this company are two adventurous ladies from North Karelia. Minna is an expert guide and campfire cook. She likes archery and canoeing. She knows how to set up a traditional smoke sauna and always succeeds in finding the way home after a day of adventures.

Sirke is a physical education instructor and she takes an interest in skiing, tour skating, ice hockey, volley ball and golf. In volley ball she coaches one junior group. She has a dog and she also likes gardening and handicrafts.

They both like to speak English. They organize unforgettable holidays in the natural surroundings of North Karelia. The tours are designed for people who like great outdoors and want to use the opportunities offered by "green tourism" to get to know how people live and work in rural Finland.

Every tour has its special focus - but they all have some things in common: hiking, biking, canoeing and skiing and getting to know each other and the locals. One evening is spent in a traditional smoke sauna - but you can make a trip to sauna virtually every evening if you wish. The day always starts with a hearty breakfast and nothing is planned before the breakfast. Our cross country skiing tour requires skiing experience and an average condition, but you get fitter every day! Incedentally we like cooking for vegetarians!

We have been operated since 1995. We started because there was a need for this kind of products in our region.

2. What is your company's mission?

Our mission is to offer our clients tours with everything in it; accommodation, full board, program etc. by respecting nature and local culture. We have received the status of corporate social responsibility.

3. What does your company specialize in?

Nature products, skiing, hiking, canoeing and biking.

4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?

The founders are Mrs. Liisa Klippel and Mrs. Minna Murtonen. They still own the company and work for it.

5. What is your most popular travel package and why?

Skiing tour from quest house to quest house. Because it is something special that not many other companies offer.

6. What is the best compliment you received from a client?

The athmosphere in our guest house is like coming home...
