M21084, is a California-based upscale travel planning organization specializing in land tours and river cruises to destinations in France, Spain and Portugal. The company was founded in 2002 and is operated by my partner/wife Carolyn and myself. Both of us are seasoned world travelers.
Our river cruises are pre-packaged escorted programs, but most of our land tours are a-la-carte packages with customized itineraries designed for independent travelers. We dedicate ourselves to providing the highest level of personal attention and service. Our tours and cruises appeal to those who appreciate the personal touch and our hands-on approach to the travel business.
We believe in the art of traveling well and focusing on the discovery of the local heritage. Our programs are designed to immerse travelers in the local culture, going beyond ordinary superficial sightseeing. Our goal is to give you rich and authentic travel experiences that create lasting memories (not just a "trip" but the experience of a lifetime).
I was born, raised and educated in the French province of Brittany. As a native, I love everything about France, of course: the history, the arts, the lifestyle, the food, the wines and the endless diversity of local cultures. I have traveled to nearly every corner of the country and I continue my journey of discovery every year - sometimes two or three times a year. (If nothing else, I need to visit my family once in a while). I have also traveled extensively in Spain and Portugal.
Carolyn majored in French in college. She first went to France on a Rotary fellowship. This generous grant allowed her to spend a full academic year at the Université de Haute-Bretagne in Rennes, the capital of Brittany. She discovered many aspects of France that year, including myself! Since then, she has gone back many times with me or with other members of her family on personal trips. For the business, she also travels to France, Spain and Portugal regularly every year to keep herself up-to-date on the various travel opportunities in those countries.
I am a Travel Institute-certified France Specialist and Spain Specialist. We are both certified Portugal Specialists. Carolyn and I love traveling to France, Spain and Portugal, and we would like to share our enthusiasm with you. Let us know when you are ready to go. We can give you some good advice.
