GREGORIO ARRIBAS, A LICENSED GUIDE in Catalonia (Spain), a connoisseur and admirer of the city of Barcelona wants that all mentioned above become a reality for everybody that visits Barcelona, and sees his mission as helping people realise the full potential of their travelling experience. But his knowledge and love is not limited to the city of Barcelona, his love for nature has made him explore all the beatiful corners of this mountanious land, let alone the most impresive creations of human beings: from castles to small churches in the Pyrenees, from big cathedrals to remains of roman cities, from tipycal rural houses to medieval villages. Also we can use any means of trasnportation that may feel like, they range from walking to a luxury chauffered car.

1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?
As a LICENSED tour guide I started in 2008, but as a lover, admirer and explorer of this region, since I was very young.
2. What is your company's mission?
As I say in my web page: "...and sees his mission as helping people realise the full potential of their travelling experience."
3. What does your company specialize in?
Visit to Barcelona, Montserrat, nature and Castle excursions.
4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?
The company is only me, other past acrtivities, have been: translator, interpreter, lifeguard, hotel recepcionist.
5. What is your most popular travel package and why?
The one-day castle excursion to La Segarra, because people get surprise when they can feel how people really used to live inside medieval castles, and also for the good food in the pictoresque restaurant.
6. What is the best compliment you received from a client?

My grown son and I really enjoyed our time with Gregorio. He really took his time and planned two great days for us based on our requests. He picked us up at
... view more the airport on time, presented himself professionally and delivered everything he had promised for the amount agreed to ahead of time.
We spent one day in the city visiting parks and significant buildings and the next day we traveled about an hour north west of the city where I had requested to see some Roman ruins (they call them castles).
During our outing in the country he took us to the most amazing little restaurant perched on a hill that is only open on weekends and then we drove from castle to castle on small roads passing by fields, working farms and small villages.
We used his car, a Ford station wagon that was a bit on the small side so it worked great for parking in the city, but if you are more than three going with him out of the city you might ask him to rent a larger vehicle.
He told us of arranging bicycle trips, large groups...you name it, in the past.
