1  Farida Kbar “An entertaining, fun, and engaging look into the Danish way of life”
I spent a beautiful half-day tour with Kristian exploring Copenhagen and some of what it offers from visiting its eclectic neighborhoods, to understanding what makes its people tick, to enjoying a stroll in its beautifully designed streets, and to listening to Kristian describing enthusiastically and passionately ... view more the Danish way of life. Kristian tailored this tour to my interests including stopping in supermarkets to do some local shopping, taking a break in the meat market on a bench and sipping one of Danish local soft drinks made with elderflowers, and of course answering every question I had about the Danish culture and history. I highly recommend him for anyone who wants to know more about Copenhagen and the Danish culture and who would like to do that with a friendly wonderful person who is also knowledgeable and passionate about what he does and it shows!

2  Linda Markeloff “Best way to see Copenhagen!”
My family and I truly enjoyed our full-day walking tour of Copenhagen with Kristian Sottrup of Tours in Copenhagen. He is a wonderful guide! We learned so much from him about Danish history, customs, and culture, and he made it all so interesting. The day was very well planned, allowing us to see many sights we ... view more could never have found on our own. He also took us on a boat trip to explore the harbor, which was wonderful. He introduced us to local cuisine. We were a large group – ten people; three generations, with the youngest being 12 years old. Everybody had a great time. He helped to make our visit to Copenhagen so memorable and enjoyable. If you really want to experience Copenhagen, I highly recommend a tour with Kristian!

3  Daniel Arbor “Tours in Copenhagen”
Kristian was very enjoyable and brought Copenhagen alive. His guided walks around the city showed us the vibrant history of Copenhagen. His extensive knowledge and experience offered us an intimate lunch off the beaten path, a ferry ride on the river, and a real feel for his city.

4  Chris Kurmann Private tours rock
Hi All,
I had a slightly off beat idea to climb up as many tours in Copenhagen as possible and climb 500m of Height difference. As I had no idea what was possible I asked Kristian if he would be interested in providing a custom tour.
He agreed and we had a great time speeding around Copenhagen’s ... view more churches, towers and high-rise buildings. Kristian made the event so much more enjoyable for me by providing great background information and real local insight. He also accommodated for my rather unusual pace and spontaneous changes in planning. We had a fantastic afternoon but unfortunately only managed to do 380m so I will need to do this again someday. And when I try I will definitely give Kristian a call.
If you want a great guide that knows really does customer service well, Kristian is worth every penny.

5  Helen Jarvis Educational tour for urban geography undergraduate students
I wanted a walking tour of central Copenhagen that would encourage my group of geography students from Newcastle University to explore aspects of everyday life that would take them 'off the map' of the conventional tourist trail and Kristian proved to be the ideal guide for the job! Kristian's 2.5 ... view more hour walking tour was the first introduction the students had of the city and it offered just the right balance of factual knowledge, personal insights and a passion for the city that actively invited us all to look further and deeper for intrigueing hidden gems for the rest of the week of our visit. Not only was Kristian clearly very knowledgeable on the history and geography of Copenhagen, he was generous and flexible with the way he tailored the tour to suit our interest in the 'alternative' social life and the academic requirements of our group. I certainly plan to book Kristian for the same trip next year! Highly recommended.
