The M05178 was established and recognised by the Irish Department of Education(ACELS) in 1968 and is a founder member of MEI-RELSA.It is the oldest school of English in Ireland and is fully independent.Located in the heart of Dublin city centre, it overlooks the picturesque River Liffey and backs onto the bustling and vibrant 'Old Town' of Temple Bar. The school boasts 28 classrooms, an academic reception, a fully-equipped library, a student room, private study rooms and a computer room.All areas of the school have free Wi-Fi access.
The M05178 prides itself on giving a complete and quality service to all of its clients. Their wide variety of English Courses are designed to help with all aspects of English and are offered both full-time and part-time. Included in all of the courses at DSE as standard and at no extra charge are lessons in English at 7 different levels, textbooks & course materials, information & welcome pack, Co-Curricular Tour & Social Programme, attendance certificate, all registration fees, internet access and access to our listening libray, book library and private study rooms.
We have a highly trained and experienced team of tutors experienced in Teaching English as a Foreign Language(TEFL) and English for Special Purposes(ESP). All have at least a University Degree and a TEFL Diploma, and many have several years experience working abroad. Others combine their specialised Master Degrees with their TEFL Diploma and work on our Executive Teaching Team.
A wide variety of accommodation options are available through the M05178 including host families, residence, B&B, hotels and hostels. Host families always prove a very popular option. All are hand picked, inspected and monitired by the schools highly trained and experienced Accommodation Department.
