Glenn Steiner, is an award winning, advertising assigment photographer who has shoot digitally for corporate clients throughout North America, Europe and Asia for thirty-five years. Glenn is expert in all formats from large format 8x10 to small format 35mm. Glenn is a board member of the American Society of Media Photographers. Glenn has shot for National Geographic.

Since 1994, Glenn has explored over forty nine Greek islands, by ferry, motorcycle, yacht and sandaled foot. Glenn studies the Greek language and culture at UC Berkeley. Glenn makes his home in Fairfax, CA., and on the Greek island of Santorini.

1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?

We have been educating students for the past eight years. I first experienced the fabled Greek light in 1994 and had an artistic epiphany, an awakening that has led me to explore over fifty-five Greek islands.

2. What is your company's mission?

Our mission is to transform the world with light. We have created a forum from which students can learn about the Greek culture and language whilst making the finest images of their lives. Our job is simply to put you in the right place, at the right time, with the most perfect light.

3. What does your company specialize in?

We specialize in both digital and film photography using formats from 8x10 view to 35mm. We are expert in Photoshop CS-5 and in Lightroom and still process our film and print silver images by hand.

4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?

Glenn Steiner is a multiple award-winning pro photographer who has worked for many of the world's finest art directors and graphic designers in search of visual purity and simplicity of vision.

5. What is your most popular travel package and why?

"In Search of the Real Greece" wherein we explore the lesser known villages of Santorini, rarely seen Anafi and pristine Thirasia.

6. What is the best compliment you received from a client?

That through photography, we have fundamentally changed one student's life and taught them how to see the unseen, using light as metaphor. That student is now a practicing pro photographer.

		Glenn Steiner is not only one of the best photo instructors and most knowledgeable photographers I've ever met, he also knows the Greek islands inside out ... view more and speaks the language which adds a marvelous depth to the entire experience. The groups are kept purposely small for individual attention. The pace of each day is leisurely - beginning with coffee while watching incredible sunrises, a morning shoot, a "siesta", an afternoon shoot, and dinner while enjoying the sunset. At the end of each day, there is such a feeling of accomplishment, of gaining new knowledge, of seeing incredible sites. The experience is so enriching and joyful, I cannot recommend it enough.
