We offer a range of tours to help visitors and natives alike discover the city's rich diversity.
1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?
I have been working as a free-lance tour guide for 12 years. For the previous 30 years, I worked in book marketing, primarily as a copywriter for an ad agency specializing in book publishing accounts. New York City has always been my greatest fascination and over four decades I have
taken countless walking tours, read scores of books, and traveled the world by visiting ethnic neighborhoods across the five boroughs.
2. What is your company's mission?
Our mission is to show visitors how every building and every block has a story of its
own.
3. What does your company specialize in?
While I am happy to offer general-interest tours of famous sites around New York, I especially enjoy tours of historic neighborhoods, like
Greenwich Village, and the many worlds of Brooklyn, where I have lived for four decades. I also enjoy family heritage tours, tracking the homes and neighborhoods where family members once lived.
4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?
The founder and owner of the company is me - M05313. I have been working as a free-lance tour guide for 12 years.
5. What is your most popular travel package and why?
The Brooklyn Bridge walk is the most popular for several reasons: its a world-famous landmark, the walk provides impressive views of both the Harbor and the skyline, the crowds and views create a memorable experience, and, at the Brooklyn end, you get a taste of some of New York’s most talked-about neighborhoods.
6. What is the best compliment you received from a client?
I never knew there were neighborhoods in New York City that looked like this!
