Chambery is in the south east of France, in the Alps, at an altitude of 270m (800ft) and is near Geneva, Lyon and many Olympic ski resorts. It is a city of art and history as well as the historical capital of Savoie with 100 000 inhabitants. The Alps, Savoie and Chambery are characterized by old castles, lakes, National parks, vineyards and summer and winter mountain activities.
Annecy is the capital of Haute-Savoie and is the home the well-known Lac d'Annecy. It is a medieval city full of architectural history, tradition and charm at an altitude of 450m (1350ft). Both cities have the average temperatures of 0°C 10°C in winter, 10°C 20°C in spring and autumn and 20°C 30°C in summer.
Regarded as a leading French language institute, our company operates with the co-operation and approval of universities and institutes in France and abroad. We welcome students all over the world and of all ages. We are open all year and our capacity is controlled to ensure high standards. Diplomas from the Catholic University of Lyon are awarded to students at the end of each session and the DELF and DALF are also prepared at M05460.
Our school has its own accommodation service which guarantees the choice of a place in a shared apartment, studio, student residence or French family (half- board). Numerous cultural and leisure activities are organized by our school including visits Chamonix / Mont Blanc, The Chartreuse, Turin, Venise, Cannes, Grenoble, Lyon and the Beaujolais region. As well as tennis, football, sailing, hikes, aerobics, horse-riding and weekly ski trips the biggest ski resorts in the Alps. |
