My name is Arthur, I'm 35 years old, natural born Russian, who is an English speaking guide & driver in Moscow. My experience with travelers includes business people, tourists, families (expats and adoptions) and students. I took courses in English at school, plus colloquial English with an American teacher. Most of my clients like my English and have given me compliments for my pronunciation.
I graduated from Moscow Aviation Institute (1995) as an Engineer, but, because of the crisis in science (actually everywhere in Russia at mid 90's) I was unable to secure a position relating to my chosen field of study and found a very good job with a private travel company as a personal driver. I have gained excellent driving experience, excellent knowledge of Moscow and its traffic from this company.
Several years ago I started my own business offering the best service as a personal English speaking driver for people who Travel to Moscow Russia. After gained a lot of experience working with tourists as their local tour guide, I received in 2004 the official license as a travel agent, guide-interpreter from the Russian Government. To me, this is a great honor to have gotten this.
As for me, I love to work with international visitors because I like to communicate with people from other countries, improving my English, offering to help people visiting, here, in Moscow. I enjoy using all my skills and knowledge to make their trip more comfortable, successful and cognitive in Russia.
I really enjoy digital photography. For my birthday this year I purchased a digital camera. And I enjoy it very much; it takes great pictures, so I decided to create my photo gallery to share some of my best pictures with other people. Also I am pleased to take photographs of you and/or your interests with my digital camera and present them to you on a CD (DVD).
I also started recently to collect postcards from my clients. I have already gotten postcards from: Los Angeles, Boston, Minneapolis, San Francisco, Manchester and London (UK), guidebooks from Los Angeles, Hawaii and Arizona. If you think to bring a postcard from your area, I would really appreciate it. I would love to add your hometown to my collection as a way of remembering my clients. |
