M05478 was founded in Hurghada (based at the Hurghada Hilton Resort) in 1992 by British and Egyptian partners. Since then, we have provided top quality diving holidays in Egypt and our dive centers have expanded to include, as well as Hurghada, the following locations:

- Nuweiba Coral Hilton, Nuweiba in 1999
- Sheraton Resort, Soma Bay in 2002
- Hilton Port Sudan in 2002
- Sol Y Mar Resort, Marsa Alam in 2003
- Swisscare La Reine Hotel, Dahab in 2004.

M05478 was a founder member of the Hurghada Environmental Protection and Conservation Association (HEPCA) in 1993 and was presented with a special award in 1999 by the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency for its special efforts in conservation. In 2002 M05478 was given an award by the Ocean Conservancy for Outstanding and Dedicated service to the Coastal Clean Up.
In 2003, we were given the PADI Project Aware 5-Year Cleanup Recognition Award for outstanding and dedicated service to the international beach and underwater clean-up - profound commitment to the marine environment and continuous support of Project AWARE (UK). We were also founder members of the South Sinai Dive and Watersports
Association.
Our fleet of twenty boats makes daily trips to many different dive sites from four of our six locations. In Nuweiba and Dahab the diving is primarily from the shore accessed by 4 x 4 Jeeps or Land Cruisers. In Marsa Alam, this is both a mixture of shore and boat diving. The boats range from 18 meters to 23 meters and all are fully equipped with galley, heads and cabins and, of course, full safety equipment, first aid and oxygen.
Dive sites are 45 to 90 minutes away and we generally spend the full day at sea, making two dives with a leisurely surface interval where lunch is served on request. Full buffet lunch is available on board at all locations except Nuweiba and Dahab, where we usually make one dive in the morning and another in the afternoon and return to the centre for lunch.
For guests who are not staying in our host hotels, we offer a complimentary pick up and drop off service by mini bus/jeep from all local hotels at all locations. For some hotels further away from the diving center, we can arrange a pick up at a supplementary charge. |
