1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?
I started guiding tours in Prague at 1997. It was on the advice of prof Thomas Katz from Columbia University. I was guiding him in Prague during his lecture tour in Europe. From 1998 I became official English guide of Fischer Incoming travel agency.
2. What is your company's mission?
I am a free lance guide and my mission is to do my tours in Prague to fit to my clients and make their visit to Prague memorable event.
3. What does your company specialize in?
I am specializing in the History of Fine Arts and Architecture - I have got special licenses for National Gallery and Lobkowicz palace museum. My second big interest is Jewish Museum and Jewish Heritage in general.
4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?
I am the owner of my small guiding business. Guiding is my part time job. I still work as scientists in the field of organic chemistry and nanotechnology.
5. What is your most popular travel package and why?
My most popular package is Prague, Karlstejn and Konopiste tour. It includes 2 half day tours in Prague(1. Strahov with private visit to Library halls, Castle with St. Vitus and Little Quarter. 2. Jewish Quarter and Old Town) and one day full day trip to Karlstejn Castle (with Holy Cross chapel from 14th Century) and Konopiste Castle (Private rooms of Archduke Franz Ferdinand d Este) and it included also visit to unique Rododendron park in Pruhonice.
6. What is the best compliment you received from a client?
I have got hunderds of compliments, but I put on top the one from tour leader of Kings Lynn Society of Fine and Decorative Arts. He send me a letter in which he had written, that I was excellent representative of my country - I appreciated it particularly, because it was from English gentleman with characteristic understatement.
