I work as a professional guide since 1998. Besides the general license for Prague, I have also special accreditation for Prague Castle and Prague Jewish Museum. I am fluent in English and I do guiding only in Czech and English languages. I have got an expertise in the History of Fine arts and Architecture and I can provide special tours in the premises of Czech National Gallery and other important collections of Fine Arts.
Last two years I work mostly as personal guide for individuals, families or small groups.I do guiding as a part time job. My main occupation is science - I work as a senior scientist at the Czech Academy of Sciences. I obtained my PhD degree in 1987 and I spent 2 years in England as a postdoctoral fellow (1992-1993) and I was as a visiting scientist in USA (1997, 1998, 2001 and 2004). My interests next to the history of Fine Arts are riding MTB, tennis and landscape photography. I was born in 1956. I am married with 2 children. |
