Stephen Daly & Stephen Knapp show clients this special area of Andalucia, known as the Strait of Gibraltar - one of the busiest bird migration routes in the world!
Stephen Daly has been hooked on ornithology since his childhood days in Scotland. Stephen Knapp, a former Nature Reserve manager of Pagham harbor, in the south of England joined Andalusian guides in 2004. He was also responsible in setting up the Reserve Reserva Ecologica de Guapi Acu (REGUA) protecting one of the last stands of tropical rainforest left in the severely depleted Atlantic Rainforest (Mata Atlantica) in Brazil.
This superb 6000 hectare forest reserve located in the critically endangered Atlantic Rainforest spans an attitudinal range of 25 meters to over 2000 meters and contains more endangered species of bird than any other single reserve in the world.
