Stephen and Patricia Daly have been running M05538 since 2001 and also managing their rental house, Hoopoe Cottage since 2003. Stephen has been an avid bird watcher and keen naturalist since his childhood days growing up in Scotland.

He has worked, lived and birded in Scotland, France, Germany and Spain and has over 100 tours to many European countries for Limosa Holidays for whom he is a principal tour leader. Stephen has also led tours to many other world-wide destinations including Sri-Lanka, The Gambia, Morocco and Cuba and the Lesser Antilles Islands.

His photographic skills have steadily risen to prominence in the birding world and he has many photographs published in numerous books, study papers, birding reports and birding and wildlife magazine articles. Stephen also supplies free photos for any bona fide educational purpose.

Stephen is a contributing member to many birding societies and is an accredited birding guide for Fundación Migres on The Strait of Gibraltar and the Gibraltar Ornithological and Natural History Society and works closely with both promoting environmental awareness and conservation in this sensitive but extremely rich avain paradise.
