Welcome to M05868 - a small, dedicated dive center on the Pacific island of Yap. We cater to adventure travelers who want to experience the best that Yap has to offer. We strive for customer satisfaction while providing safe and exciting dive tours with some of Yap's most knowledgeable dive guides.
M05868 started operations in January 1993, catering to small groups that want to experience the best diving that Yap has to offer. We operate several boats, to accommodate guests' preferences. Jesse Faimaw, co-owner of M05868, was the first professional dive guide in Yap and his business partner, Dave Vecella, has been guiding divers in Yap for over 15 years.
Together, these two gentlemen have discovered and named many of the sites visited today. In fact, the majority of dive guides on the island of Yap were trained by Dave at one time or another.
Since 1993, our PADI professional dive facility has taken small groups of divers and snorkelers to Yap's BEST sites, from the gentle manta rays to schooling sharks, caverns and mating mandarin fish. We have some of the island's most knowledgeable dive guides, and we've been teaching diving since 1987. We have complete hotel/dive packages with most of Yap's hotels, from luxury to budget. |
