William P. McElligott is a professional photographer and teacher specializing in Architecture, People and Sports. He is an active member in the Professional Photographers of Canada and lives at Meech Lake located in the Gatineau Hills close to Ottawa, Canada. For over twenty years He has traveled extensively to over 40 countries on assignment and for pleasure.
"Photography is my passport to travel," McElligott says " It lets me discover new experiences in life and challenges me to strive for excellence in my field - to improve continually on what I have done in the past."
For the past 5 years He has been conducting Visual Design Photography Workshops on "The Art of Seeing" created by himself and offered through Algonquin College Applied Arts and Sciences. Coming from a self-taught background and attending many workshops himself, Willie feels that the idea of offering week long M06047 is a natural progression in his lifelong passion for photography.
