ARTINDEX is an independent information agency, created by an initiative of St.Petersburg artists in 2002. Today it is a registered trademark uniting series of informative projects in the field of culture and arts. ARTINDEX area of business includes publishing annual art catalogs, managing electronic art databases, carrying exhibition and art tours activities.
ArtTours program was first introduced in 2004 and offers a wide spectrum of art-related activities for art specialists, art students, and general public, such as: studying in master classes, attending art workshops and art galleries, searching for art and artists, art shopping.
Master classes are taught by well-known professors of the Academy of Fine Arts and are offered in painting, drawing, sculpture, applied arts, design, and many other fields. Artindex art catalogs (available online) are printed annually and include thousands of artworks created by Russian artists, with complete contact information in the "index" section.
