We are 'M06501' (Ltd), a British based ‘adventure ecotourism’ operator well known in the UK through magazine and newspaper advertising / editorials.
We specialize in ‘off the beaten track’ adventures. Previous projects have visited remote areas in Siberia and Nepal. Our current journey typifies this ethos, a journey which less than 250 people have ever accomplished. Our trips include rainforests journeys, visiting remote tribal villages, white-water rafting, wildlife watching and tasting foreign culture.
The founder of our company, notwithstanding injury, personally leads each and every crossing of Borneo, having done so since 92 when he spent 6 months on the island researching the route. This is highly important as the more remote tribes are reluctant to welcome strangers especially white ones into their village. The meeting and greeting having been done, each group is now warmly accepted by every village and tribe we pass through, the benefit of this is of course enormous and key to the success of each project. |
