Sea Kayaking on Vancouver Island offers a paddling experience like none other– stunning vistas, lush temperate rain forests, long sandy beaches, incredible wildlife sightings, and vast wilderness areas. Simply put, Vancouver Island is one of the premiere destinations for sea kayaking in the world. Everything comes together here; an extensive maze of islands, rich First Nations culture, extraordinary wildlife encounters with orcas, humpback whales, bears, eagles and much, much more.

We are located in Port McNeil on Northern Vancouver Island, and our trips operate in the surrounding waters of Johnstone Strait, Nuchatlitz and Nootka Islands, Broughton Archipelago, Queen Charlotte Strait, and the Great Bear Rainforest.

We have chosen Vancouver Island as our home, and as we enter our 10th year of operation, we hope you will join us on a kayaking trip of a lifetime. Our Kayak Tours offer something for everyone...

Wilderness with Comfort: Experience the wilderness with a touch of comfort! Our Johnstone Strait Base Camp Kayak Tours offer roomy tents on wooden platforms and large kitchen and dining areas — and everything is permanently set up to maximize your time exploring and having fun!

Wilderness with Adventure: Our Expedition Style Kayak Tours of Johnstone Strait, Broughton Archipelago, God’s Pocket, Nuchatlitz Inlet, and the Great Bear Rainforest allow for greater exploration, and — with the exception of the Great Bear Rainforest tour — are suitable for novice kayakers with a sense of adventure!

Wilderness with Family: We offer regularly scheduled Family Kayak Tours to our Johnstone Strait base camp plus private, customized family kayak tours to any of our expedition destinations.
