Have you ever wanted to explore places where wildlife far outnumbers humans--where the rhythms of nature are still intact--where you can listen to the land's heartbeat, kayak to towering glaciers, or paddle down wild rivers?
We offer 7 to 24-day extended wilderness trips by canoe, kayak, raft, and backpack to Alaska's most remote and spectacular wildlands. Our scheduled expeditions range from Easy to Strenuous. Families are welcome on our trips, and we especially encourage groups of 4 or more to arrange custom trips. Our participants have ranged from age 2 to 76.
We offer scheduled and custom trips statewide, to wildlands in Gates of the Arctic Natl. Park, Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, Noatak Natl. Preserve, Wrangell-St. Elias Natl. Park, Glacier Bay, Tongass National Forest and more. We also travel to the Canadian High Arctic, paddling rivers in Aulavik National Park, trekking in Auyuittuq and Sirmilik National Parks on Banks, Baffin and Bylot islands.
In Spring and Fall, we explore Southern Utah and Arizona by canoe and backpack trips, offering adventures for women, and custom trips for groups.
Our focus is natural history, and we offer our trips to increase our awareness of the need to protect wilderness worldwide. |
