M08124 is a family owned and operated company (established 1981), we run 4WD personalised tours to Daintree / Cape Tribulation, Cape York, Central Australia and Northern Territory. We have 7 & 13 seated 4Wd vehicles, custom built for passenger comfort and to withstand some of the ruggedness required in the areas that we operate. We have fully equipped camping trailers (Kitchen, Lights, Ice boxes etc.) and the vehicles are equipped with
Air-conditioning, First Aid Kits, UHF and Flying Doctor radios and all seats are forward facing and fitted with seat-belts.
We are the longest established 4WD day tour operator to Cape Tribulation. We use safe, air-conditioned,vehicles necessary for the rugged terrain of the 'Bloomfield Track' beyond Cape Tribulation.
Our company prides itself on its informative tours and we encourage questions, as we have no timetable as such we allow time to stop for photos and explain any inquiries you may have.
M08124 is owned and operated by husband and wife team Berrick and Marilyn Barnes. They employ a total of ten staff including a full time Operations Manager and full time Marketing Manager.
We pride ourselves on our highly experienced and knowledgeable guides. We conduct on going, in house training for them so they can provide accurate, informative and up to date information for our guests.
MEMBERSHIP
M08124 has been a long standing member of Tourism Queensland (TQ), Tourism Tropical North.
Queensland (TTNQ), foundation member of Far North Queensland Tour Operators Association (FNQTOA),
members of the Inbound Tourism Organisation of Australia (ITOA), our Marketing Manager is on the committee for the Cairns Tourism Association (CTA) and we are an Accredited Eco Tourism Operator.
ECO TOURISM
We are accredited as an Eco Tourism Tour Operator by the Eco Tourism Association of Australia.
AWARDS
We were winners the Tourism Tropical North Queensland Award for 'Significant Tour Operator for the year 2000.
GROUP BOOKINGS
M08124 has the ability to provide personalised tours for both small and large groups.
We can customize a tour to suit your passengers needs. If groups are traveling with a guide/interpreter we will gladly offer the interpreter/guide travel with us free of charge. For more details on group bookings please contact our office. |
