M08193 was established in 1954 and is the oldest tour operator in Namibia, offering a complete ground handling service for individuals and groups of all sizes. We have our own fleet of Volkswagen microbuses and 9 to 39 seater Mercedes Benz busses driven by well trained, experienced English/German speaking guides.
In 2004 M08193 has celebrated it's 50th anniversary thus making it the oldest established private tour operator in Namibia. Today M08193 is managed by his sons Wilfried and Horst.
In the beginning M08193 started with camping safaris, in trucks which had been converted to carry passengers, duo to the lack of accommodation. Today, tourists travel in comfortable modern coaches. We wish to make it quite clear that these are not luxury buses, but are Volkswagen Microbuses and larger Mercedes buses with fresh-air ventilation (some air-conditioned) and windows that can be opened, perfect for taking photos. The buses are specially constructed for our local roads which are mostly gravel roads. Seating is comfortable and spacious. Overnight stops take place at the best hotels, lodges and rest camps available. Our tour guides are also drivers and all of them speak English. They will do their best to show you our beautiful country where the magic heartbeat of Africa is just a stonešs throw away from a rich heritage of architecture dating back from the German era.
