There are over 700 kilometers of groomed trails and thousands of miles of wilderness areas with a mixture of marked, ungroomed trails and hundreds of miles of lakes and river systems that see very little activity. Labrador has one of the longest snowmobile seasons in all of North America, starting in December and ending in April, making it a snowmobilers paradise.
Also we are catering to people who want to hunt the largest caribou herd in the world (The George River Caribou Herd). Labrador is one of the last unspoiled wilderness areas left to be explored. It is the home of the largest caribou herd in the world, with a population of over 700,000 animals. This is an excellent opportunity for hunting or for taking pictures. Wolves are often sighted during the day time and on clear nights it is common to hear the sound of wolves howling.
