We are based in Westport, on the wild and beautiful West Coast of the South Island, close to numerous fish rich locations. The West Coast is recognized the world over for its top fishing and scenery. Serge’s goal is to get clients onto premium “off the beaten track fishing”. You are invited to “come and experience the spotting and catching of big fish in a peaceful scenic environment”. Silvio is a member of the New Zealand Professional Fishing Guides Association. My fishing career started about 40 years ago bait fishing for trout, followed soon after by a gradual move to the more challenging forms of spin and fly-fishing.

In past years, I have won a number of major fishing competitions. My greatest passion has become my profession. Prior to becoming a guide I have fished many parts of Australia, Asia a dozen European countries and of course New Zealand, still my favorite fishing location. My whole life is based around fishing and therefore I have been a member or executive member of various fishing councils and clubs like the New Zealand Professional Fishing Guide Association. Given my knowledge and skills in fresh and salt-water fishing, I am able to share many angling stories with you and truly custom design your ultimate fishing trip.
