Experience a Pioneer life style in the heart of British Columbias Bowron Valley. A no frill adventure in some of the wildest country imaginable. Over 250 square miles to explore. Wolf, wolverine, martin, beaver, moose, elk, grizzly are only some of the animals you may encounter. Snowmobile, snowshoe, mountain bike, or A.T.V. along the many trails available on your journey. A.T.V. Tours. Bring your own or use the camp machines.
Trapline adventures are available October 15th - December 22nd. Five days and four nights, limited to four guests per trip. Transportation to and from the main camp is provided as well as food and equipment for your experience. From May to October our Cabins are available for you to experience the wilderness as never before. Located next to the largest tree plantation in the world. Examine the natural progression of environmental changes as the forest grows to maturity. Chance upon the wildlife of the area, sight the Grizzlies as they feed for salmon. Nine lakes and miles of river offer up their elusive Rainbow Trout. Trek or Snowmobile up to the high mountain cabins for views you soon will not forget. Mountain bikers, test your skills. Experience an old fashioned Pioneer Christmas with your family. Return to the simple things in life.
General Information.
This is a no frills adventure. We offer none of the modern conveniences only what was available to our early pioneers. The cabins are clean and well maintained, the bunks have mattresses, washroom facilities are outdoors. All cabins have a wood stove, wood is supplied for cooking and heat. Cabin rentals at the main camp include meals. Trails are well marked and do not offer extreme difficulty. Remove all garbage when you leave, this is a clean and natural environment and we will ensure it will remain that way. |
