Departing at Midday, this 5 hour wine tour offers an excellent taste of the Central Otago Wine Region, it's spectacular scenery and information on the early gold mining history. The tour visits four of the region's finest boutique vineyards, the hidden gems of Central Otago, and tastes some of the region's best wines. A delicious gourmet lunch platter is provided in the delightful and picturesque setting of Carrick Winery overlooking Bannockburn Inlet. Also included is an optional visit to a local orchard.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Vineyards selected from - Peregrine, Chard Farm, Felton Road, Olssens of Bannockburn, Mt Difficulty, Quartz Reef, Akarua, Mt Michael, Carrick and Amisfield Cellars. Sights include Old Cromwell Town, Lake Dunstan, Otago Goldfields, Lake Hayes, Kawarau 'Bungy' Bridge. Optional stop includes Mrs Jones fruit stall. Includes: (L).
