On this tour, we travel through the Gaspe Bay, Northern Quebec, the magnificent scenery of the Laurentian Mountains, and into Labrador. We camp at Scenic Grand Hermine Wilderness Campground, view Hamilton Falls and the Churchill Gorge and visit Lobstick Lodge where we dine from their traditional menu. Enjoy a guided tour of Churchill Falls Hydro Generating Station, one of the largest in the world. Travel through the magnificent wilderness of Western Labrador and explore numerous other sites.

A trip through Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Quebec into Labrador. Taking a ferry across the St. Lawrence river and traveling through the beautiful Laurentian Mountains into Labrador. Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Leave Halifax and travel through Nova Scotia,New Brunswick and Quebec's Gaspe to Matane where we stay in a motel for the night. Lots of great sights and interesting stops along the way.

Day 2: Cross the St.Lawrence river and travel north through the Laurentian Mountains to the Manicougan Reservoir and the Daniel Johnson dam (largest arch dam in the world) where we have a guided tour of the dam and stay at the motel for the night. We will be passing through some really great wilderness viewing so have your cameras ready.

Day 3: We travel to Labrador City for a bit of shopping and some lunch and then on to Grand Hermine Wilderness Park through some magnificent scenery stopping often for photos,etc.Here we will set up camp for 2 nights. Lunch in Labrador City and then on to Grand Hermine where we will stay for the next 2 nights. Includes: (D).

Day 4: We explore Grand Hermine where we hike,take nature walks,canoe and just "chill out". Fishing is an option (there is an extra fee for this). There is a great beach for those who wish to swim. In the afternoon we travel to Labrador City where we do sightseeing and some shopping. Then back to Grand Hermine for the night where we gather around our evening campfire and say our goodbyes to our new friends and Labrador. Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 5: We leave for Bay Comeau traveling back through some exceptional wilderness stopping often for photos and a wilderness lunch. We will spend the night in Bay Comeau at a motel. Includes: (B).

Day 6: Cross the Saint Lawrence River and a scenic drive back to Halifax stopping at interesting points and scenic landmarks.
