Come with us and tour the picturesque western coast, where we highlight the magnificent scenery of Gros Morne, and the many interesting sites and scenes of this part of Newfoundland. These are small group tours traveling in modern, air-conditioned passenger vans with an experienced tour director.

The highlights of this trip include:
- Exploring the rugged beauty of Gros Morne National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
- Visiting the 1000 year old Viking site at Lanse Aux Meadows.
- Crossing the Labrador straits to Red Bay, Labrador, and visiting a 16th century Basque whaling station, a National Historic site.
- Visiting and exploring numerous other exhibits and sites.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Leave Halifax and drive through Northern Nova Scotia and Cape Breton island where we board the ferry to Newfoundland.(about a four hour ferry ride)We will spend the night at Port Aux Basque at a B&B.

Day 2: We travel through Newfoundland to St. Anthony where we spend the night at a B&B. This whole day is spent traveling up the northern peninsula where we spend much time exploring the scenic beauty of Gros Morne.(A UNESCO World Heritage Site). Includes: (B).

Day 3: We visit Lanse Aux Meadows a 1000 year old viking site.We take a tour of St Anthony and also visit the Grenfell Mission Museum.We then cross over to the coast of Labrador where we visit the 16 Century Basque whaling station at Red Bay. We stay here for the night. Includes: (B), (D).

Day 4: We return to Newfoundland and drive to Gros Morne Park where we spend the day exploring and visiting their many sights and interpretive centre. We stay in the park for the night at a B&B or motel. Includes: (B).

Day 5: We finish visiting Gros Morne and travel through the picturesque Cordory Valley back to Port Aux Basque for the night in a B&B. This is a great drive with lots to see and do. Includes: (B).

Day 6: We board the ferry for North Sydney and then travel through Cape Breton and the world famous Cabot Trail (one of the most scenic drives in Nova Scotia) Make sure you have lots of film for your camera for this one. We stop in Port Hawkesbury for the night at a B&B. Includes: (B).

Day 7: We travel through northern Nova Scotia back to Halifax stopping at numerous points of interest to explore and visit. Includes: (B).
