Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Today is your arrival in Chittagong, reception and breakfast in town. Then a scenic drive up into the Burmese foothills to Bandarban, and casual sightseeing around this colorful native market town. Afternoon options include Sangu river cruises by country boat, swimming or strolling along the sandy river beach, a visit to the hanging bridge, waterfalls and lookout points. Typical evening pastimes are visiting the homes of the locals (with home-brew for the thirsty), observing tribal cultural festivals and activities as per season, tea-stall crawling or perhaps just checking out the bazaar. Overnight at a tourist class hotel (hot showers and cold beer). Includes: (B), (L), (D).

Day 6: Today starts with an exciting morning speedboat trip to the sacred island of Maheskali. Here we see an ancient hilltop Hindu temple, visit the Buddhist 'Moghpara' with its shrines, handloom weaving centers, gold and silver smiths. Back to Cox's for a late lunch and more beach or shopping. Optionally, we may visit the nearby Buddhist town of Ramu. Overnight at our hotel. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
