Many sites in Turkey require a certain amount of walking in order to be fully appreciated. This tour is specially designed to give our guests a different impression of the ancient sites within their natural settings. While high-level hiking experience is not required for this tour, you should be capable of walking at least four hours a day on continuously varying landscape and on uneven surfaces like goat paths, nomadic trails, woodland roads, and ancient roads. The main stops during our walks are less known and less accessible sites such as nomad camps, summer villages on high meadows, unusual sights of fairy chimneys, troglodytic dwellings, open-air sanctuaries, rock-cut tombs, and monasteries of Cappadocia.
