Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Secluded Hanging Valley. After transferring to our beautiful four-star mountain retreat we embark on a half day of walking through a wild and romantic nature reserve where numerous treasures are revealed within a trough valley sheared by the Kanderfirn glacier. Learn about the geology and beauty that can only be created by the power of these wondrous masses of ice after transferring to our beautiful four-star mountain retreat we explore the scenic historic Gemmipass frequented by Mark Twain, Lenin and Picasso. Includes: (D).

Day 2: Shepherd's Pass. We explore the scenic historic Gemmipass frequented by Mark Twain, Lenin and Picasso. This easy walk takes us by serene alpine lakes and pastures filled with wild flowers and to the edge of the ridge that divides the Wallis and Berner-Oberland. Here you will enjoy splendid distant views of the Alps highest peaks. Includes: (B), (D).

Day 3: Enormous Waterfalls. We walk through one of Switzerland's most beautiful shear-walled valleys. Waterfalls dropping down from an enormous height line our path as we ease our way past the rural Swiss way of life. Within a beautiful nature reserve lined with glaciers and icefalls our journey continues. Then before we cog-train up to a car free resort, we tour the rare spectacle of a twisting violent waterfall within the mountain. Includes: (B), (D).

Day 4: Eiger, Moench & Jungfrau. Walk amongst the mightiest of Swiss Alps, Eiger, Moench and Jungfrau and along the trails that have defined the region's fame. Includes: (B), (D).

Day 5: The Eiger trail takes us as close as one can get to the wall of "The North Face". The camera never stops as we enjoy the grandeur of these Alps. For those not departing on day 5 we continue our walking within the same region, while those departing are transferred to the train station Lauterbrunnen. Includes: (B), (D).

Day 6: Departure for six day tour participants. Includes: (B).
