The Jamison Valley forms the awesome backdrop to one of Australia's, and the Blue Mountains', best known land marks - the Three Sisters. Being surrounded by the vertical cliffs of Kings Tableland, Mount Solitary, Sublime Point, Narrow Neck and the southern escarpment of the Blue Mountains the valley appears an ocean of inaccessible eucalypt forest. This is a most spectacular 5 - 6 hour walk that traverses the Jamison Valley.
Pass down through a rain forested pass, which requires a little scrambling in places, to meet an historical track that traverse the valley just above the tree line. Skirt the escarpments of the Jamison Valley, passing down through the rain forested canyon of Gladstone Pass and along the long historical, yet almost hidden, route of Lindeman’s Pass. Walk the tree line, 200 m. below the towering sandstone cliffs, and pass through hidden glens, remote caves, deep pristine canyons, behind waterfalls and through gums and rain forest. Tour Itinerary: Day 1: Pick up from Accommodation in the Upper Blue Mountains at 9.15 am for a short transfer to the beginning of the walk. The morning takes us through a wonderfully hidden pass, through temperate rain forest to meet a historical path 200 m below the cliff line. We follow the path through eucalypti forest, take a break approx 11.00 am for morning tea and by 12.30 pm reach the Valley of the Waters for a long lazy lunch break beside the cascading waterfalls. The afternoon sees us follow the waterfalls back up to the cliff line, through banksias and gum trees to the most stunning views out over the Jamison Valley. The walk concludes approx 4pm and transfers are provided back to local accommodation or the station. Includes: (L). Notes: Note: A surcharge of 45% is added for privately guided tour.
