The 8 day holiday includes airport transfers, full board accommodation and five days riding. Accommodation is in a shared apartment where breakfast is taken, lunch is tapas taken at a typical Spanish Venta and dinner is taken at local restaurants. The base for the holidays is a small town located on the coast. The town has a beautiful beach as well as good shopping facilities.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1, Sunday: Collection from Malaga at 14:30 with transfer to Barbate arriving at 17:00. Over dinner the weeks holiday is discussed.

Day 2, Monday: Introductory forest ride with the faster paces being gently introduced. In the saddle time 4 hours.

Day 3, Tuesday: Ride through the salt marshes following 'Rio Barbate'. On entering the forest the trail leads towards the 17th century tower 'Mecca' overlooking cape Trafalgar. Gentle canters with a stop for tapas lunch at the 'venta' in San Ambrosio, In the saddle time 4.5 hours.

Day 4, Wednesday: Ride to the beach at cape Trafalgar, a day of long canters, firebreak gallops and a beach gallop with a quick stop for drinks and onward to lunch. In the saddle time 5 hours.

Day 5, Thursday: Optional excursion to Jerez to visit the Royal Spanish riding school.

Day 6, Friday: A ride through the forest following rollercoasters of sand, short canters and gallops along firebreaks. A stop for tapas lunch at a 'venta' in San Ambrosio, in the saddle time 4.5 hours.

Day 7, Saturday: Ride through the salt marshes to the beach Yerbabuena, the trail then follows the cliffside path to the 16th century watch tower 'el Tajo'. A day of long canters, firebreak gallops and a beach gallop, in the saddle time 4.5 hours.

Day 8, Sunday: Transfer to Malaga leaving Barbate at 08:30 to arrive at Malaga at 11:00.
