Day 4: Cappadocia, The Counrtyof Magical Valleys And Mysterious Fairy Chimneys. After breakfast full day Cappadocia tour. The triangle between Nevþehir, Niðde and Aksaray was given the name Cappadocia (Home of Beautiful Horses) by he Persians. Fallowing the tremendous eruptions of the volcanoes Erciye and Hasan Daðý three millions year ago, Nevþehir and its surrounding plateau became covered with a layer of rocks, lava and fine ash, forming tufa. Through the influence of wind and weather this soft layer became eroded into ready to carve cones in fantastic colours ranging from red to golden yellow, from gren to grey. Visit Göreme Open-Air Museum - Göreme, known since Roman times as Cappadocia, is one of those rare places where humans are in harmony with nature. Since 4000 years before Christ the rocks have been hollowed out as dwelling places.
In Byzantine times to these were added churches and monasteries carved out of the rock and decorated with frescoes of the surrounding area.Göreme Open-Aýr Museum with its frescoed churches is one of the best known regions in Turkey. Most of the churches are from the Byzantine and Selçuk times of the 10th to the 13th century and many of them are built with croosbeams suported on columns hollowed out of the rock. The best-known churches of the group in the Göreme valley are the Elmalý Church, the smallest and the newest, the Yýlanlý Church with its frescos of the wicked serpent, Barbar Church and Çarýklý Church. At a little distance from the main group is the Tokalý Church with its frescos portraying the New Testament. Day 7: After breakfast full day Ancient City of Aspendos And Side Tour. Visit in Side, Magnificent Theatre, Agora, Temple of Apollo, Foundation, Necropolis, Roman Baths and Archeological Museum Aspendos, Aspendus was a major port city in the Roman period with the navigable river of Köprüçay. Aspendus Theater is one of the largest ancient buildings in Anatolia and may well be accepted as the best preserved theater of antiquity. Day 8: After breakfast full day Manavgat and Düden Waterfalls Tour. Manavgat Waterfalls are not high, milky white, foaming water rushes powerfully over the rocks. Next to waterfalls shady tea gardens and restaurants make the falls a pleasant, cool resting spoti especially welcome after a day sightseeing. You amy can take a delightful boat trip up the Manavgat River to explore this lovely area.At the Upper Düden Waterfalls, 14 km northeast of Antalya, you can walk behind the rushing cascade for a thrilling experience. On the way to Lara Beceh, the Lower Düden Waterfalls plunge straight into the sea. The nearby rest area offers an excellent view of the falls and view is even more spectacular from the sea.
