Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival to the capital of Moldova, Chisinau. Accommodation in the hotel. Day 2: Visiting “The Golden collection” in the wine cellars of “Milestii Mici”, you will be amazed by two million bottles of harmonious wines that are waiting their time. Day 3: Visit to the “Vitis-Hinceshti” winery, founded by the famous landlord Manuk Bei in 1866–1867, the winery still keeping its century traditions and technological secrets. Further on, visit to Vulcaneshti town, situated in the South part of Moldova, where the modern giant “Aurvin” winery is located. As for the technological equipment, the Aurvin enterprise is one of the best equipped in Moldova. Day 4: Visit to the “Cricova” subterranean “wine town” that is known for its exceptional micro-climate, length and depth. The fascination of the tasting halls will make you forget about time and routine. The first spaceman Jurii Gagarin during to his visit to "Cricova" said: “It would be easier to take off into the space than to leave Cricova halls”. Dinner in the Trebujeni village. You will have the opportunity to feel the aroma of fresh baked bread and to drink homemade wine, poured from barrels. You will also visit the handicrafts museum and will get to know folk songs and dances. Day 5: Visit the “Kvint” Tiraspol Winery and Distillery, one of the oldest Moldavian winery established in 1897, which produces a large variety of cognacs from Very Special till Extra Old ones. Then take a trip to the tower-museum in Ternovca village, an extraordinary building in the shape of a bottle, where the unique private collection of wines from all over the world is exhibited. Day 6: Setting out for the Hincu convent, established in 1678. The convent lies in the heart of the century-old forests, called “Kodry” and is a leading convent in Moldova in respect of the organization and the number of visitors and guests. Visit to the Capriana monastery - the symbol of the national renascence and one of the oldest monasteries in Moldova. You’ll have the possibility to hear the stories about ancient traditions and special technologies of monastic wine production that reached our days.
