The Sahyadris are a mountain range which runs parallel to the Western coast of India. It is considered to be one of the ecological hot-spots of the world. The northern portion of the Sahyadris have hundreds of ancient forts built on the peaks and mountains of the range. Most of these forts are 3 to 4 centuries old and have been built by the Maratha warrior king Shivaji, the Mughals, the British and the Portugese.
We offer several customised packages to these forts. Although these forts are very important historically and are architecture wise beautiful, they have Not been promoted as tourist destinations on a mass scale. As a result, the regions they lie in are untouched and remote, unspoiled by the problems tourism inherently brings in. The routes to most of the forts pass through thick evergreen forests and small obscure villages in which the style of living has not changed very much since ancient times.
