Itineray: Day 1: The two-day trip meets at Camp Lotus, about 10 miles from lacerville. After enjoying a continental style breakfast it's a short ride to The Nugget where you will begin your adventure. Here you will receive all of your river equipment followed by a detailed orientation from our experienced, professionally-trained guides. After your orientation, it's time to tackle to Upper section of the river. The American quickly becomes a rollicking ride over countless rapids such as Meatgrinder, Racehorse, Triple Threat, and the infamous Troublemaker. Then it's time to settle your stomach with a hearty lunch. Following lunch is a leisurely float down to camp for an evening of volleyball, horseshoes, fishing, swimming, or just relaxing. The highlight of your evening will be a gourmet meal expertly prepared by your very own guides. Action Whitewater Adventures provides an exceptional river camping experience complete with campfire and marshmallows for roasting. As an added bonus, our camp features hot showers and modern toilets. Day 2: Your second day begins with another incredible meal prepared by your guides. Then it's time to get back on the river, which quickly progresses from mild to wild. After enjoying lunch at our own private spot, we will descend into "The Gorge." Here the river becomes narrower and deeper as it is squeezed between sheer rock walls and strained through numerous rocks and boulders. You'll have the opportunity of conquering such rapids as Fowler's Rock, Haystack, Hospital Bar and Satan's Cesspool as one rapid follows another in the never to be forgotten finale to this superb 21 mile river run.
