Tour Details:
- Group Size: max. 8 persons. This size group can choose this tour year round. - You can book just a cabin on this midweek tour: June 3rd - June 7th. This tour starts and ends in Maasmechelen. It will offer a view on Limburg, on the border with the Netherlands, clearly characterized by the Meuse river. This is a part of Belgium where nature is omnipresent: woods, heath lands, dunes and brooks. Small towns provide the other aspect to visit in this area: abandoned coal mining infrastructure, breweries with plenty of tasting opportunities in a local bar or restaurants. Time runs slower here. Your Itinerary: Day 1, Monday: Welcome on board in Maasmechelen, omnipresent coal mining history and typical "garden" districts. Also features a great outlet centre. Good shopping! Large heath fields show an unforgettable landscape. Day 2, Tuesday: Bree. The typical regional architecture can be observed on many places: het Vrijthof, church of St.Michael, the former city hall in Rococco style, and more. Also nice for a relax stroll along the shopping streets. Day 3, Wednesday: Neerpelt, convivial town aside a large natural reserve at the Dommel. Day 4, Thursday: Rekem, cosy village with historical castle, in the bend of the river Meuse, on the border with The Netherlands. Day 5, Friday: Return to Maasmechelen. Goodbyes after a healthy breakfast around 10AM. Notes: Prices:
