Instead of north to see the Himalayas you will be flying south to the plain. In fact your flight takes you southeast direction towards Bhairawa. The weather becomes hotter than in Kathmandu but as you approach Lumbini garden you are in the vicinity of the land where Gautam Buddha was born.
You will stop at Lumbini garden for 45 minutes to see and visit the archaeological sites, vihars, and the garden that are being recreated and preserved. Most sublime thing is your presence on the holy site where once upon a time Sidhartha Gautam, light of the world, was born to give enlightenment to the people.
