Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive Gangor airport (Lhasa), transfer to Tsedang, stay at the Hotel.

Day 2: Explore Yarlung Tsangpo Valley, the Cradle of Tibetan Belonging to the Nyingmapa School of Tibetan Buddhism and then Yunbulakhang, the first castle built for a king by the Tibetans.

Day 3: Drive Tsedang to Lhasa. En route visit Midroling Monastery, the main center of learning for the Nyinmapa school and also for the Lhasa officials.

Day 4: Guided tour of Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Market and Sera Monastery.

Day 5: Guided tour of Potala Palace and Drepung Monastery.

Day 6: Drive via Yamdrok Lake to Gyangtse, Visit Kubum Stupa and Pelkor Chode Monastery. Hotel.

Day 7: Drive via Shalu Monastery to Shigatse. Hotel.

Day 8: Drive via Sakya Monastery to Shegar. Hotel.

Day 9: Drive Shegar to Zhangmu, en route visit Milarapa Cave.
Hotel.

Day 10: Walk across friendship Bridge and drive back to Kathmandu, overnight in Kathmandu Hotel.
